Board Games for the Better has worked with Board Game Academics for years in the development and execution of the journal and is a sponsor of our journal distribution efforts. The organization gifts board games and board game experiences to underserved communities to improve mental health, relieve stress, and provide opportunities for social engagement.
Board Game Academics is a proud partner of the North American Simulation and Gaming Association (NASAGA), a community of practitioners using play as a means to bring about change. Their members include educators, trainers, facilitators, and consultants. NASAGA holds an annual conference each year featuring the work of their members.
